How the games are built
Many free game sites bury the game under flashing banners, surprise timers and pop-ups. I built these for people who find small print hard to read, have sore hands, or just like to take their time.
Large print
Big, high-contrast numbers and tiles. A Text size button sits in the lower corner of every page; tap it for one-tap A− / A+ controls that make the text as large as you like, plus a High contrast button that sharpens everything to crisp black on white. Your choice is remembered for next time.
Large buttons
Every button is large enough to tap without care. Nothing needs dragging or double-clicking. If you make a mistake, the Undo button takes the move back.
No timer
Nothing counts down in any game I wrote. The puzzles and the solitaire card games never end on you. The games against the computer end in a win or a loss, like any board game, and Block Puzzle stops when no piece fits. Falling Blocks, Snake and Maze Chase are other people's games and do end when you run out of room or lives.
Most of my games have a Hint button, which you can press as many times as you want. The two trivia games do not have one.
Free to play
All of the games here are free. The running costs are mine to cover, so I may add a few small, clearly marked ads at the side of a page. They will not cover the game.
Questions people often ask
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. Every game plays in your web browser, so there is nothing to install. Open the page and play.
Do I have to sign up or create an account?
No. You never sign in or give an email address. Click a game and it starts.
Are there ads or pop-ups?
There are no pop-ups and nothing that sits over the game. To keep the site free I may show a few small, clearly-marked ads off to the side.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no trial and no payment. None of the games I wrote has a timer. Two games I host but did not write can show one: Minesweeper always shows the time you have taken, and Spider Solitaire shows a running clock if you turn it on in its settings.
